As passionate as we are about creating a technically trained dancer at Middleburg Academy of Dance, we are just as passionate about molding good human beings that will become tomorrow’s leaders.

Dance can be a powerful tool for developing individual leadership skills. Through the process of learning dance our students learn to set goals, to work effectively in teams, to creatively solve problems, and many other character-building attributes.

While we recognize that a small percentage of our students will go on to become professional dancers, all of our students will become professional people. At Middleburg Academy of Dance, we are committed to helping them become the most successful people possible. 

Each month we focus on a specific leadership principle and explore how applying that skill enhances our dance practice and our success in life.
